Jean had a ramp! Could ONC provide a chair lift? Upon inspection, it seemed that a better solution would be the use of a motorized chair, or “Scooter”. It just so happened that ONC just had one returned to it by a previous client, who no longer needed it. After a short demonstration of the Scooter’s features, Jean got on it and carefully descended her ramp. Then off she went down the street to the next block. On her return she said that she had only been down the block to visit a friend only a few times in several years. Then off she went in the other direction. Jean attributed her acclimation to the Scooter due to extensive use of motorized chairs in the supermarket!
