Overcoming Tight Spaces

A women in childbirth suffered an amniotic fluid embolism during an emergency c-section. She is now in an unresponsive state. Her family has to transport her to appointments with brain and neurology doctors, but had no easy means of moving her out of the home. Volunteers from Operation Northern Comfort found the only viable solution was the replacement of a stairway with a platform lift. This had to be done in a very small space. The chair lift was disassembled in order to place it within the confined entry area. Reassembly and securing the lift was completed in two hours.
