Halloween, 2019 brought only bad tricks and no treats to Oneida and Herkimer Counties, NY. Heavy rain and severe flooding caused heavy damage to hundreds of homes displacing many families. Operation Northern Comfort, in association with the Methodist Disaster Recovery team, is surveying several homes and planning to assist the families affected. For example, one home will receive financial assistance and free labor to repair drywall, replace trim and install flooring,
